i need some help syncing my virus

I'm having trouble syncing my virus c appregios with my sequencers, particularly using my mpc 4000. The apprs are not syncing right and i dont know if it is b/c of a setting on my mpc or my virus.

It only works if i set my midi out on my mpc to the virus specifically. But the virus is supposed to read midi automatically. right?

The mpc has four midi outs and i think i should be able to sync my other gear with it but right now i can only sync one. So now i got to make chain using soft through. What am i doing wrong?
 
You may have to adjust the tempo setting on the virus itself.

You would have to read the user manual to do so, I dont know how to use the virus.

I have a Yamaha CS2x and it has a tempo setting for its arpeggio's.
 
that seems like your on the right track. but it doesnt ask you to set that. I dont know what's up
 
I am pretty sure there has to be a tempo setting for the arpeggiator.

I doubt it would have one set tempo for everything.
 
Yes, you do indeed have to set the tempo in the virus.

Go to the Edit menu, you will find it in there.

The Virus does indeed recieve MIDI clock, but you do still have to set the tempo for each multi.
