A A-K Guest Jan 13, 2007 #4 I have a C-1 and I love the sound. It's very quiet and has a very nice sound to it. I used the Rode NT1A before the C-1 and I would recommend both. The NT1A runs around $199. It's one of the cleanest, quietest mics you can get.
