I'm thinking of getting these Studio Monitors. Aside for the usual questions of "do you think they're good" I have a question about performance.
I'm buying the XL version for the chance that one day I can actually live in a place where I can play them loud, but for the time being I can play them only at a very reasonable volume.
By buying a speaker that can be played very loud and using it a low volumes am I distorting the sound of the speakers at all? I imagine speakers have an optimal performance volume.
Would I be better getting they regular TR8 versions and play them at they're operational volume?
