I've never been huge on this pitch shifted voices but you pulled it off fairly well. This is really pleasant. Drums sound all natural and clean as well. Good work. I don't have any criticism to offer unfortunately, but I think for what you were going for you pretty much got the sound down.

Nice work here man - this is great work with the sample! Contrary to the first comment - I am a SUCKER for pitch shifted vocals, so you had me right away :-) haha.

But honestly I think this is good work - the arrangement is good, the sample work is nice, and the choice of sounds is good as well. But I agree with another poster that the drums could stand to have a bit less room reverb and be a bit more present and "in your face." Listen to Bobby Bland "Ain't No Love In the Heart of the City," and see how his drums sound. That's the song that came to mind for me.

I also think that there could stand to be a few more elements in the song, such as SFX, noisy things, percussion, etc... It'll just make it seem more dynamic and give the song that extra professional spark.

The sample work is dope as fck, on point ! Only I thing I would do different if it were me, was make that snare hit harder with less reverb, break your neck type shit lol,,but this still dope !
