I think the mix sounds distant. Quiet snare & vocal sample, vs. the hats level for example.

Yeah yin when I was playing the mix back in ableton in my headphones, the snare and the vocal samples were popping. I was disappointed to hear how it actually came out. I think i will go back and edit the song a bit. Thanks for the feedback. And I am dying to check out that song but I am exhausted so it will have to wait until tomorrow.
