Also the drums you picked fit perfectly with that sad guitar. But yeah, personally I think that an 808, played, in key, as a counter melody to the sample would be excellent. I kept thinking that that was all that beat is missing while I was listening to it. Also while I liked the hi-hat, I think a straight hat pattern without any, or so, many rolls would sound better. No complaints re: mix or arrangement...very professional-sounding imo. Nice work, 4.5/5.
