great idea and i really dig the sample, but the mix could use some work. i like the hi hats though.

sample is smooth man. The low end is too muddy and the snare could be a bit more in the foreground.
The hihats are simple but cool. sounds to me off beat from time to time which is a cool thing.
Mix needs some work but you already know that..

Ouch lol, that low end is pretty muddy. Eq out the mid and high ends, bring up the low end, and eq out all instruments low end that dont need it. That might help. Otherwise the idea is good.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Im still learning my way around mixing, so thats going to struggle a little. when i learn more, I will go back and re mix the beat.
