Word+Sound+Power= Music
So I started making a beat and this is what come out. I dont even know what genre this would be... housepopstepthing? lol.. Anyways tell me how it sounds. Tell me what you think. Feedback returned if you'd like but just remember if you posting one word shit like 'dope' dont expect to get a deep review in return!

 
Haha i definitely don't know what genre of music this is either, but I like it ! the rain, the voice, the drums, it all fits together well and creates an atmosphere. My only beef would be the part at around 0:50 (there in another one later too), the clap feels a bit off, but that's just my opinion. The kick sounds a bit too hard sometimes so maybe you could try with a softer one. Anyways, I'm just nitpicking so you can improve but it's great work.

Thanks! you just sent a soundcloud link so ill drop your feed here: I'd add some ambience to the sample, maybe a very very light reverb. Maybe you can add some filters (like a phaser or automate a lowpass filter) to the sample where the chorus is meant to have some change/difference to the instrumental. Maybe you can also add some studders to the kick/snare pattern here and there. just these things so it doesnt sound like the same thing repeated. everything else sounds good i really like it.
