What'up you'all ? Question of the day about Non Phixion - Black Helicopters... The main sample that plays through the whole song. Seems like a key organ or a guitar... Anybody knows where it's sampled from ?

You really got soul !!! My man... That was quick... 1000 Thanx !

Seems really hard to find it! Any chance of anyone posting the song ? I 'd like to search for this loop and if there are more ... to find 'em 'n flip 'em !!!

^^ That's the song, but not the right version (he knows that :D) so keep digging. Killer sample though.

Hehe, yeah, that's right. Like the ****in holy grail of samples or something.

Yep.:) I need Futurama too, and then i can die happy. Did you see the Necro "Head-split" sample from the Spider-Man series that was just posted at le'breaks? That was a good one i thought.

Yeah! I was really surprised by that find, I mean Spiderman. The track, Your ****in Head Split turned out so dope, but I'm pretty sure if I heard that part in the series, without having heard the beat, I wouldn't have sampled it. Necro's got a knack for knowing what works well like that.

^^ No doubt. I'd like to think I would have jumped all over that track if i would have heard it, but maybe not. But yeah, I love the whole approach of Necro, N.Phix etc. even if I'm late as hell. They made me like Hip-Hop again.

Yeah, I know what you mean, I been following Necro since he dropped I Need Drugs, he dropped an EP two years previous to that but I didn't know of him then. Been following Psycho Logical and Uncle Howie Records artists and related projects, lot of good **** has come from that click. Non Phixion was a great project too of course, and the fact they got producers like DJ Premier, Large Professor and Pete Rock on it was just incredible.

I catched a show two-three years back or something, here in Norway actually, with Non Phixion, Jedi Mind Tricks, Heltah Skeltah and Doujah Raze, that was dope as ****.

^^That is wicked  The whole clique is dope as you said. I'm on the old Company Flow album right now, and the new Death Rap is pretty good too. Hell, I even love Sabac, he's my man.:)

p.s. I'm loving those tracks on ur Myspace Soulpurpose, especially that Christmas remix.

I did a web search and found out that Eisaku Ohkawa is probably japanese and about 60 years old !!! Man !!! Where did Necro discovered this??? Well i hope i meet someone from Japan to send me the song !!!! I think that's the only way to i could get it....

supposedly the version used is Taiwanese...not that that helps any ;)

Seems like we need to take a trip to Asia to find the sample so... if anyone has it..... i 'd like to have it too !!!

jizzer, You heard the Q-Unique album that dropped on Uncle Howie? Vengeance is Mine. Really good. Nice to see a legend like that come out with something new. Production by Q-Unique, Necro, and some other dudes.

No, but I will cop it asap if you say it's good. Any other recommendations?

I don't kow... I mean I can recommend a ton of ****, just need to get a better feel for what you like. Guessing you got a pretty good overview of the whole Necro click so I'm not gonna recommend anything from there. Lately I've mostly listened to that click, and JMT/AOTP - Babygrande artists.

7l & Esoteric - The Soul Purpose is nice. I'd steer clear of their new ****, like A New Dope, thought that was garbage. Apathy - Eastern Philosophy. Celph Titled got a dope 4 CD collection, The Gatalog. Chief Kamachi got a couple of nice albums, Cult Status and Concrete Gospel. Virtuoso is pretty nice. Outerspace, especially first album.

Reef The Lost Cauze is a dope rapper of course, but I haven't been that impressed by his releases, but the album Feast or Famine was good. That's where he dropped Sound of Philadelphia ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SseHnpmjCYM )

Heard newest Brother Ali? Undisputed Truth, good album. Brings you back, oldschool Hip Hop vibe.

Artifacts. Tame One got some cool solo **** too. Check out Camu Tao also, especially his productions. DJ Mighty Mi has some decent production too, a lot of not so great, but what is good is really nice. Has some cool older albums. You like Cage? Cage and Tame One got a dope album together, Leak Bros - Waterworld. Album's like a crazy drug park roller coaster. Cage's - Weatherproof album is cool too.

You have to check out Smut Peddlers - Porn Again, it's an album by Cage & Mr. Eon which has production by DJ Mighty Mi and Alchemist. Entertaining ****, hehe. You know what it's about judging from the title. Released on Cage's old label Eastern Conference Records, Mr. Eon's label. Album has some good features, Kool G Rap, Kool Keith. R.A. the rugged Man.

Which reminds me, have you heard his album Die Rugged Man Die? That's a must-cop.

^^man, thank you. I haven't heard ANY of that. That'll keep me busy for a while. Thanks again.

damn soul!! you just listed all my fav CDs / artist. lol. That smut-peddlers is hard! They got eminem on track 2 of their home field advantage.. back when Em was good and wasn't rappin nursery rhymes.

You gotta check out the old rawkus stuff jizzer. its pretty well known now, but soundbombing 1,2 and the lyricist lounges are like crack. Old school Common / Mos-Def on that ish. Loads of others

Well Soulpurpose.... thats my kind of sound too.... Really hard tracks and my opinion is that this is the real hiphop !
