    Hi everyone,
If I have a sample that have a background noise (like the reverb of a drum sample) that I want to smooth or erase, is there a convenient way to do it? I got some interesting drum samples but the bg noise fights with the rest, and I don't like to use the EQ because I use it more to color sounds instead of make a drastic cut.

i do a lot of postproduction and use products by izotope especially for denoising anything

edit: if you only want to remove the reverb i'd recommend using de-verb by spl, its an epic tool
