Using a Microphone on Acid Pro

Couple questions about recording vocals on Acid Pro.

First, is it possible to hook up a microphone to my computer and, if so, how do I do it?

Second, even with a good microphone, will the sound quality be at least decent?

Third, What would be the best microphone to buy for this? Maybe post a link please?

I'm sure you can just get an adapter for the mic to change it to 1/8" jack. (or 2 adapters) Thats probably not the best way to go, but it works.

I just got done recording on Acid.. the sound is crap but it's definatly the sound card on my computer... its stock. Also, it would help if I had a better mic.

Unfortunately im gonna have to shell out some cash and record vocals at a studio to get the right sound.
