Recording Studio or Home Studio for Trance Music...

I need some help from anyone who's produced a record, or just familiar with producing dance music...

Here's a quick run down of my equipment:
Yamaha sy35
Yamaha su700
Pioneer djm500
Sound forge
Cooledit pro

I have put together a trance tune that I would
like to put on record. My problem is, I don't
have too much faith in the sound quality of
my production. My beats seem weak
and my synthesizer feels no up to par...
The whole song just sounds too 'home-made'
I feel as though I should
go to a recording studio and redo the whole
song from scratch using their equipment...

If anyone has any suggestions I would really
appreciate it...

Thanks

Look Around

you would be better off finding someone with a home studio who has some good gear and good production chops. it will be much cheaper seeing as how you need to spend time getting better sounds for your songs. a regular commercial studio will cost you out the *** and i guarantee that you won't get nearly as much accomplished. good luck!
