hey umm... what carrier does T-pain and Kanye and Weezy use? i am having trouble finding that effect. any info on how to make this effect work would be GREATLY appreciated

i know they use autotune but the thing is, i dont have autotune, and i know you can still get that effect with another vocoder software, and i wanna know what carrier synth or whatever i could use. if i cant get that exact effect, does anyone know how i can get a similar effect?

It can be done with melodyne...

Autotune is not a vocoder, they are NOT the same

a vocoder is used with keys, autotune is a different thing

Autotune can also be triggered by keys via midi

But yeah they are two different things
