Helpful tip for Producers using Beats by Dre Headphones while making tracks....

Dammit, I had every intention of using the "stop it" joke.

... until finding out that the thread WAS a "stop it" joke :(

I thought this was one of those threads. Had the baby poowder in my hand ready to smack sumpin lol. When I think of those headphones, I think of a college student walking to class thinking he's cool cuz his daddy got him those for his iphone or ipod. Never used them for recreation. I'm audio-technica loyal & happy with the m50's

Lol

I have a pair and i honestly don't think there that great. I just you use mines for recording vocals and that's about it. Are there any good headphones on the market for mixing? I mean good heaphones

I mean good heaphones
I have some Sennheisers I use as a reference once in a while after I think I'm finished with a mix. It's another perspective.

I mean... er... "Are you kidding?!?! But the guy at radioshack told me Dre's were the BEST for mixing! Dres have the best bass ever! Man, 200$ for nothing..."

But in all seriousness, I don't even like Dres for casual listening let alone serious tracking or mixing.
