Flexible single mic setups on a budget?

I'm looking for a simple solution to record audio. Ideally it would be something that would be flexible enough to record bedroom acoustic guitar jamming to band practice scratch takes. Even better if it works well with video recording. I'd run everything from either a Mac book, phone or camera.
What should I be looking for? Are USB mics my best options? What would be the best bang for my buck to create this setup?Kodi TutuApp AppValley
