How do i get that sound in these songs? I think knxwledge does something with the eq to give their melodies that airy, surrounding feel.

Dem some sloppy chops, for real. That first song you mentioned.... the first sample is bells with reverb/delay. That instrument is naturally "airy". Same goes for Saxophone in the next sample.

But I gotta say, I think it sounds that certain way because the samples are compressed. Or the whole track is compressed.. YouTube, ya know?

Try a High Pass Filter until the sample sounds airy. Maybe even wanna boost the highest frequencies just a touch, too.
