is PCM file and WVA file the same thing? because im trying to load sounds into my mpc and the sound files dont come up on the mpc..i checked on wut format the sound files were and it said PCM...i have the sounds saved in a SD card and i also have a card reader.

I don't know what formats the MPC can and cannot read. If it doesn't see your .pcm file, change the extension to .wav instead. If that doesn't work, open the pcm file and re-save as .wav.

Not saying they're different on the inside but if the mpc doesn't recognize the extension then it won't allow you to open it.

Side-noting: PCM (Pulse Code Modulation) is a "main" file type. There are many different types of PCM audio files -- .wav and .aiff arguably being the most popular.

yea, i had this problem before. i think i was trying to load .pcm files in reason or battery or something and it wouldn't find it. anyways i had to convert all my files to .wav. such a pain in the ass cause it was like 100+ files.
