If I make my beat on FL and I record vocals with an artist on pro tools. If I want to add things to the beat will I have to track it out to FL again and add it in? And then I'll have to track it out to pro tools again right?

Yes but it's easier to just add whatever you need in Pro Tools.
Pro Tools is a complete D.A.W,i think a lot of people forget that you can do more than just mix
and master in it.

You can rewire FL Studio to Pro Tools or use FL Studio as a VSt inside of Pro tools to use the original FLP of your beat and add elements from there

without moving files all around here and there

I know that.But i don't rewire because i don't use fruity loops.
To me,It doesn't make sense to have Pro Tools and be making beats in FL.

Peace

I do this a lot, the easiest way is to to bounce the files as wav and click split tracks once you're exporting. Make sure each pattern is in its on mixer track. If you're a little confused PM me and I can give you a detailed walkthrough
