Logic wont record for some reason?

Hey guys. I've been using Logic for about 2 years now and have a pretty good grasp on it, but just now starting to get into producing with it and for some reason...I cant figure out how to record. I've tried hitting the record button and pushing notes, but nothing seems to record. I have my input set to the plugins I'm using and have the created tracks set as software instruments, but I'm still getting nothing. I've attached some screenshots for reference if someone could clear this issue up with me, it'd be greatly appreciated.

I can hear the notes as I play them, but it isn't being recorded.

My wild guess is your midi aint set right at the moment. Use the SPOTLIGTH icon top right on your MAC and enter MIDI. Enter MIDI setup and make sure everything seems familiar according to your setup. Then go PREFERENCES in LOGIC and check your midi setup there.
Post results.
