Best software to make Ambient Music?

Hey everyone im really looking to make ambient music like this(Project Reality - Home - YouTube) is there any software thats very good to make this specific type of ambient music? Thanks.

FM8 works great as well! Also, if you are using FL Studio, you can stick with Sytrus.

I've only made on ambient style song in my life, I used Sylenth1 for it along with a few soft drum samples.

Any DAW and the VST's mentioned above just learn some ambient sound design or tutorials on youtube of ambient sounds

pretty much any available synth vst can nowadays.its become a matter of "which one would i like to look at for more than an hour"

I just bought Omnisphere a couple of weeks ago, and if you got the money, I HIGHLY recommend it as it is very suitable for ambient productions. Many many sounds to choose from and you can add textures to them to really make the sounds come alive.
