[VIDEO]Leo D. Penrose - Making The Beat 31 (2009)

Sup Leo...

1.) Beat is dope. I see people going crazy in the club hearin this.

2.) I see you have yamaha HS80 monitors. Try setting them up like this:

MSP_stereo_settings.jpg

turn every speaker 30 degrees...basically like a equilateral triangle
it should give you a more acurrate respresentation of your mix.
Another problem is that your monitors are too close to each other.

This is no critizism. Just wanna help a fellow FP user out to get the best out of his monitors.

This is how I set up my Tapco S8 monitors

do you think you know enough about krk vxt moniters to let me know where to correctly place them and what degree to turn the volume at? it would be unbelievably appreciated if you would know.

thanks

hey leo...dope beat...what did u use for the sounds? was that the fantom or VSTs? and what DAW are you using? Pro tools? and how'd you add that effect when the synth slowing down like a record?....good job dude...def. feelin the track

dope beat but the snare seems a bit weak for this type of beat. synths on point though

yo burnem...that monitor placement is true for all studio monitors. Whether it be computer speakers, or Genelecs...cheers
