Any tips for layer kicks WELL to get the 9th wonder kinda bounce to your kick.

Im still having trouble making a good kick with layering. Tryina study the greats, any techniques or tips on how to
make my kicks have more bounce without making them muddy.

I'm not sure if layering is going to be the answer, I would suggest getting your kicks from sample packs or straight from breakbeats and doing the mixing yourself to get the right sound.
