I'm on a tight budget being in college and all and don't have enough money for monitors so I want to try my hand at some headphones. I have about $100 to spend on a pair of cans. Why do you guys recommend?

7506. I had a pair for ten years, daily use, they finally clunked out on me earlier this year or late last year. I purchased another pair as soon as they kicked the bucket.
