Slicex Question

Everytime i get my samples all nice and chopped and layed out on my white keys all pretty and i figure out how i want it chopped i try to record BUT THEN Slicex begins to play the original sample loaded in the deck:mad: I'm missing something aren't i? Tips please?
 
im not sure how to cure your exact problem, but u could just drag ur sample chops to different pads in the fpc and then assign your chops to different keys from there.

put each pad to cut 1 by 1, so the cuts will cut each other off...boom u got a little mpc right there, lol...hope that helps!
 
Sounds like you have the piano roll in the background with the notes already triggering the samples... Open the piano roll to the Slicex and select all the notes and delete.

Then you should be good to go!
