hi,
i want to record a solo guitar into a track in Cubase while listening to a softsynth drum machine played in midi.
the problem i have now is that when i start recording (the guitar), on the guitar audio track it's also recording the drums. what i want is to record the guitar clean. the only way to do this is to mute the drums channel but that way is very dificult to follow the rhythm.
how can i set up cubase to work the way i described first...
i've looked at the manual but i didnt found anything. is it the monitoring chapter??
