How to do triple hi-hats in FL Studio?

Sorry if there are already posts on this (I wouldn't doubt it), but nothing turned up in a forums search, and a google search hasn't been too useful either.

I'm just looking for some help on figuring out how to do triple time hi-hats (like in souther rap beats) in Fruity Loops. I'm not sure that I really even understand the concept of triple-time all that well, so the more specific you could be, the better.

Thanks!

peace,

-drop your hats in your step sequencer and send to piano roll

-highlite the portion of your hat sequence you want to double/triple up

-go to your piano roll options (upper left hand corner), select chop

-adjust to taste

Nice, thanks, that will work nice for rolls, however, is there a certain pattern I should look out for? Because when I listen to southern "bounce" style rap, stuff like Mannie Fresh or Three 6 Mafia, it almost doesn't sound like they're playing a straight 8th note pattern. Is it just a matter of quantinizing it different, or is there a different pattern altogether?
