Anybody using logic?

I'm converting over from protools. And i'm without my mpc for awhile. So what I want to get educated on is, different softwares that I can load drum samples into logic.

Any ideas?

theres a lot. it can use vst/software samplers too. my boy uses battery with logic

Battery, Guru, phatmattik pro, idrum. Or you can use EXS24 or Ultrabeat which come with logic.

I went from the MPC back to software and i must say, Logic+Battery....is a definate GO! I know some people say chopping samples in Logic is a hassle, but once you have everything setup right (quick keys, midi controller, etc) you can sample stuff so fast!

I use battery also, I"ve been doing more in the exs24 lately tho

Just use Ultrabeat. It works great for drums and comes with logic. Throw some of your samples in there and your golden.

I have to suggest ultra beat. as for samples chop them on the sequencer. Just Blaze posted a video not to long ago about how he chops his samples in logic and i think its great. heres the url....https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TzDEvZ7aaKA
