I use Acid primarily, and I wanted to mess around with making beats in FL studio. Usually I beatmap the entire sample I want to use in Acid so the down and up beats are on point with the tempo.
I tried loading a song I wanted to sample into Fruityslicer, and it just detected whatever BPM it wanted to. The sample was NOT in line with the project BPM.
Then I tried using a sample channel and selected the "fit" option but this just sped up the sample and it wasn't in line with the step sequencer either.
Beatmapper in Acid makes this EXTREMELY easy - I'd be somewhat frustrated if Fruityloops didn't have something like the Acid beatmapper.
