I'm *proud* to announce that early April my big modular will arrive too (a synthesizers.com aka Dotcom giant 88-space custom modular - ordered two weeks ago)... :p

This studio is going to be greatly updated soon...either with the Andromeda A6 or several less expensive synths

I produce trance mainly (the synths give it away hehe).

You have some fun pieces of kit there.

I would go for the Andromeda next though! I would much rather have 1 or 2 amazing synths than 4 or 5 mediocore ones.

Yeah, I guess my only compunction with buying the Andromeda is that I really don't need a synth with lots of multitimbrality; I have never used more than one sound at once on my Virus. I would much rather get a cheaper monotimbral or low polyphony analog synth...but I'm still thinking about what to get.

I dont mean hijack the thread btw.

You should consider the pads that the A6 is capable of :) You dont have to use it polytimbrally, but the thing really shines polyphonically. What other 16 voice analogs are out there? ;)

By the way, are you on AIM? I found a pretty cool A6 trance demo that you might be interested in.

I_watch_stars - that's a great trance setup !!! :victory:

And btw: a small hint: you can easily unscrew the rack ears of the JP-8080 (when used as desktop model like you do) for an even more beautiful design (it won't change the sound :p but it looks more lke the Virus desktop model).

My wife says I'm patching too much already now. :p
And every night before sleeping I try to create already a few patches in my head. Maybe that's why I'm so tired lately... :p

OK back to topic again... :)

Cleanest and organized? The word I was think of was "biggest". BTW you can get a JP-8080 on ebay for 500 to 600 dollars, I got mine for 530 or so.

Common...is this it? Us synth freaks have to represent and show the hip hop heads what real studios are! (just jokin' so no offense to all u beatmakerz :) )

Lol ok biggest as well. I know you can get the JP off ebay but prices are over 600 Euros lately. They seem in big demand but i am still looking :-)

THM-

Pretty. I covet your CS greatly.

What do you have the Small Stone involved with? I don't see a string machine anywhere so i would assume one of the many polysynths . . . or maybe just an effects loop of your CONSOLE (grrrrrr . . . just kidding-sort of).

303 ---> Small Stone ----> my ears = HAHA. i tried it once. it was possibly the grossest combination of hardware i'd ever heard.
