Axiom 49 on the fritz

Was using my Axiom 49 with Reason, no problem, it began to disconnect by itself. Now the screen is lit blue and the 'Null' and 'Zone/Group' buttons are lit up and Windows 7 (64-bit) does not recognize the device. I've been to the m-audio forum, downloaded the latest driver and when I execute it, the dialog box that opens says it is not a Win32 file. I'm not sure whats going on or what to do.

I see this post has had a number of views, just wanted to say that Ive found that the issue with the two blue-lit buttons and the blue screen of death is a highly known issue with the Axioms. I've found several forums that suggested solutions yet resolved the issue for a short time.

my solution: I'm going to get an MPK49 or an MPD
