ok, VST is one of those 3 letters soups brands like, this one from Steinberg, stands for Virtual Studio Technology, and it does it so. When u hear about plugins for VST, they mention effects, sounds processing and of course VST intruments to be used with their sound composition software Cubase VST. Thats it. Although VST plugins and intruments can be used in other software packages.
