SM57 vs. Samson Q6

Can anyone tell me what the main difference is between these microphones? All I found online was that the Q6 has a frequency range of 50hz-15khz compared to the SM57 which has a frequency range of 40hz-15khz. Does that 50hz to 40hz really make a difference?

The Shure SM57 and SM58 are basically the oldest go to mics in the world of live sound and some recording applications. Honestly the difference in frequency range isn't that big of a deal. Your best bet is to try both mics and decide which is best for you. That being said the 57 is one of my favorite multi-use mics I have never had a single problem using a 57.

Great advice. I would suggest you try them out. Also keep in mind though that the reputation of the shrues are great. Never heard of the q6.
