So I've narrowed my decision of Audio Interfaces down to these two, I'd be using Reason DAW to route all external sounds into. Just a few things I wanted to know...the Babyface I heard sounds really good, is it that much worlds apart vs. Balance, in regards to sound quality? I like the user friendliness of balance however.,
I haven't really seen much feedback on Balance since it's so new, but I would trust Propellerhead and probably grab it just b/c of the integration benefits.
Babyface should sound amazing of course. I have a UCX and it sounds fantastic, and the Babyface is only a few micro-hairs below it spec-wise. But I doubt it's 2x better across the board like the price would indicate. Interfaces are getting pretty good these days.
Just buy from somewhere w/ a good return policy in case there are any surprises... b/c not many people own a Balance yet... it may take a while to find a bunch of reviews. I see 2 on sweetwater that are favorable... so i'd jump on it.
