Beans in the studio previewing his new album. Someone needs to let him know that these songs are wack, and he needs to stop trying to re-make Jay-Z's The Blueprint.

Beans is incredibly talented, but he's gone down hill after his first album. He's had no direction for his career, and quite frankly, judging from the people in the video, he doesn't have anyone to give him an objective opinion on his music and on his career.

An Executive Producer will craft a vision for his project, that will be innovative in the 2012 music landscape, and ensure that Beans delivers on that.

Doesn't seem like anyone is doing that for him. He seems to be just doing what most indie artist seem to do...record a bunch of random songs and put them on a CD, and call it an album.

This songs sounded ok. i know what u mean though, probably an ego thing.

What direction/sound would u like to see beans adopt troup??- ie: producers..

I hear hes making an album with scarface - mac n brad, now id like to hear that.

I feel like I would be a much better executive producer than a producer. I rather take care of the business of music and the overall process.

Making beats gets old.

@troup I feel you, beans fell off big time. Back in them rocafella days he used to spit that fire, those tracks do sound wack. He stated in an article that he used to have fun making music now its just work. I think he needs to start trying to have fun again, now that he just looks at it like work his tracks aint coming out hot anymore. I see what you mean about trying remake the blueprint lol. Here's one of my favorite tracks form beans that he did back in the day with jay z. This was when he used to spit that hot shit.

I would rather make beats

Why don't you get at beanie and let him know his shits wack?

I am feeling the beats and the lyrics on this shit. Beanie still go harder than any cats in the mainstream even Jay.

im interested to see what this Beanie Sigel & Scarface project is gonna sound like... cause Scarface's last album was great

Lol. You think I'm scared?? I'm the guy who tried to tell Swizz Beatz to his face that I used to think his shit was wack.

It would be pointless for me to get at Beans and try to give him my opinion. He does what he wants to do, regardless of what anyone thinks or says. He showed that during his tenure with The Roc, when Jay tried to guide him.

He'd never follow a plan I'd put in place for him.

The only thing i can see of value that I'd have to offer Beans is from an Executive Prodiction standpoint on his album.

As far as anything else, I can't help him, and wouldn't take his money.

He needs Just Blaze hands down. They already have a history and Blaze kicks that street sound but with a larger than life twist. When Beans first came out I thought he would end up how Rick Ross is now, the overweight seasoned Don on a higher level of hustling tip.....nah....this dude still and will forever be about getting his hands dirty. He's smart for that, stay in your lane, but let someone else drive bruh! He should market/position himself like the Kaiser Sosa of the game...beaten and left for dead but still taking cats out in the shadows, now all the so called vet's have someone on their level to fear....

It's not about producers, it's about a sound. He can't bring anything new to the "soul sampling" sound. He needs to experiment with his sound, and push the envelope.

I'd advise him to play with something melodic, sparse and gritty.

Play with different tempo's and rhythm's too.

Because right now, there's nothing exciting about his music.

Beanie Sigel is a freestyle rapper. He hasn't made one good album his whole career. His singles have been mediocre. But he does spit some hard bars over other people's songs and on mixtapes. He, along with 90% of other rappers, should forget dropping albums and just drop a hot single and a video once a month.

beans and blaze would be kinda nice, i prefer saigon tho. what blaze did for saigon on that album is crazy

I agree, just blaze makes that crack music. It's almost like his beats bring the rhymes out of you.
