Not gonna read the first 28 pages, but here we go...

The ONLY rappers that I like from the South:

Scarface
Outkast (Andre & Big Boi)
Devin the Dude
Ludacris
Z-Ro (mostly his features on Scarface albums but not solo work)

lol...you didn't say anything different from the rest of the people who like southern rap.

Now I'm reading through this thread and I'm disgusted. All of the people that say Biggie is overrated or not the g.o.a.t, you need your ears checked.

I'm tired of reading about legends that people don't like because they haven't heard alot or they listened to some stale quality on youtube or whatever, GTFOH. Don't judge someone unless you took the time to hear most, if not all, of their catalog.

Never bought a cd? WT...Free music didn't even exist when I bought my first Young MC disc at a young age.

I knew FP had alot of young sheep with horrible taste, and when I thought it couldn't get any worse, I read 2 pages of this thread. SMH

I only read the first 2 pages of this thread and the South wasn't brought up yet.

Surprised nobody attacked me for not listing Lil Wayne, T.I, Bun B, Pimp C, or Jeezy.

1. I think beyonce only has one talent. Singing. The real genius is her dad who does a great job of managing her career. When he was managing Destiny's Child, they were the number one group in the world. Now that he focuses on Beyonce, she is the "Queen" and the other former member can't accomplish sh*t.

2. Lyrics are meaningless to me. I am not a fan of a single rapper. Hell, I can't even recite a full verse of any song in any genre. A good beat and good flow is good enough for me. That means I listen to a lot or REALLY corny music but I don't give a f*ck. This also allows me to enjoy a lot of music in languages I don't understand.

3. I think Brian Wilson is one of the greatest musical genius ever.

4. I never liked 50 cent or any of his albums. Including "Get rich or die trying."

5. I think RnB is the corniest, pussy music in existence. I never listen to it unless I'm with a chick.

6. I still can't decide if Fergie is hot or ugly.

7. I think gangsters are stupid. Every last one of them.

8. I think Just Blaze and Kanye West are the best samplers of all time. And when it comes to skills among non-sampling hip hop producers, no-one beats Polow.

Oh to be young and foolish.

My confession? Beyonce hasn't been attractive since pre pink panther

YOURE A....

so what is all this gossip about j.troup?? guess i missed it

-- I never really cared for Tribe Called Quest...never saw what the big deal was about them.

We finally agree on something. However, I've never heard a Paris Hilton song and don't plan on it.

I see most of yall dont like Hip Hop music. that explains everything about this site now I understand I am the black sheep.

Exactly my thoughts. I might as well block most people and start a buddy list. So far I think you and some Renaissance dude have the same music taste as me...and I'm only on pg 14.

Here's my confession:

Right now I'm listening to David Gilmour's (Pink Floyd) "On an Island" and the guitar solo is the epitome of talent in music.

-Britney Spears "Blackout" & "T.I. Vs. T.I.P" Are 2 Of My Favorite Artists
-Never Heard Illmatic
-I still have not heard a lot of the "classic" albums (name some, I probably haven't)
-I don't listen to the radio so I don't know what's "hot" until I find it
-Outkast's "Rosa Parks" got me into rap music
-I started liking Rap LATE
-I think over production is ALL OVER the place, and minimal instrument songs sound nice.
-I wish there were more albums producered by a single producer or a smaller list of producers, too many albums sound like mixtapes with so many producers and different tracks.
-Never heard an entire Wu-Tang album
-I use to think Timbaland NEVER sampled
-I listen to a lot OLDER tracks then the music that is out now
-I liked 808's & Heartbreak, never could listen to Late Registration all the way through
-I made an entire beat CD sampling drum breaks from various Timbaland songs

Confession:

Mad Lib is the wackest producer you know. I tried once really hard to see something good in his music... and it made me feel akward that I didn't hear what other people heard...

Dilla too...

Fvck the intro from some gae youtuber for the 1st few seconds. After that, listen to this:
