only one belongs in in the number 1 spot: Lauryn Hill. she was too ill around the Score era. Queen La and MC Lyte follow.
i agree with Patrizio, Shawnna is mad nice, people just seem to ignore her, but she is one of the nastiest mc's in the game right now, male or female. the only thing i haven't seen from her that would make her "great" is subject matter. even tho she does sometimes go into some deep ****, she doesn't do it enough.
da brat was nice too, so is jean grae. i never could stand bahamadia's voice. she always sounded like one big adlib. if pun was still alive schoolin remy, she would be on a whole nother level.
and if u wanna count mc's that had ghostwriter's, Kim & Fox were ill too.

plus, even tho she didn't spit for mad long, she came through on the QB's Finest CD on "We Live This" and ripped that **** harder than Big Noyd and Hav.
