Roland JV1080 or JV5080

I bought a Roland JV1080 from a teacher about 2 months ago and I love it. I love it so much that I want to sell it and upgrade to a 5080. My Roland is in perfect condition though, it looks brand new, not even a smudge on it. Is it worth selling to to get a 5080? Scratching my head a bit on this one..

If you like the roland sound keep the 1080 and add the 5080 to your setup. The 5080 sounds different and it's sampler will give you access to the Roland 700 sounds.

The 5080 is like a cross between a 1080\2080 and Fantom-S and the 700 stuff I was talking about is the S-7x sampler platform stuff.

That's cool. A bigger 1080...

2080 has a bigger screen. That makes accessing your sound so much easier than the tiny 2 line screen on the 1080.

Plus, you can put in 8 expansion cards in the 2080 instead of 4 on the 1080.

My advice: Sell the 1080 only if it covers you deep enough to get the 2080.
