What's good GS fam,
I have a question about the RME UCX as a pre amp. I do not own an outboard pre amp or compressor at the moment for tracking vocals.
But I did noticed that when enabling the Mic Line with in it, it has other features such as dynamic compressor. Since this is TotalMix, would this option work for tracking.
As TotalMix is only monitoring the processes within the UCX and there's Zero latency at that point before the signal travels to my DAW, Pro Tools, correct?
If anyone could shed light on me, I would be OD grateful! Thanks in advance!
