Hi, so after researching google and spamming a lot of questions on here, I'm going to start looking at buying sets now. What do I need though? All I know is I want to go digital with MP3s to start out so all I can think of is needing this.
* A mixer / 2 discs type of controller with a dj program to go with it.
* An external soundcard that I put on my laptop. I then plug my controller to that laptop through usb, headphones into the soundcard, and speakers into the sound card so that song 1 plays on speakers and song 2 plays into my headphnes.
* Speakers of coarse.
Is there anything else I need besides the music? (Still building that up as I type this)
My budget for all of this together is $400 TOPS, I'd like to stay as close to $300 as possible. I already have the laptop so now I just net the mixer, soundcard, and speakers.
Can anyone suggest a package or good mix for a beginner?
