Play Back Sound

Can anyone tell me how to set up play back so i can here play back out of both head phones. I am using a gateway laptop with windows 7 ultimate 32 bit. And i am also using a m-audio interface. Please reply with info someone.......

Do you happen to be using some type of adapter to plug in your headphones? You may have mono instead of stereo.
