Hey
If you have a 4 channel par can controller can you hook 8 par cans into the controller? Arw par cans worth the trouble?
 
4 channel par can? what is that? please enlightem me :) is it some kind of modular mixing desk or something ?
 
A light spot. Ever heard of PAR 36,56,64?
I dunno the answer to this question, but a friend knows. I'm sending him here as soon as I can.

If I understand your question, you mean if you can connect 8 PARs on a controller of 4 channels?
Yes and no, all depends on how much power your modulator can
handle,for exemple: if you use Pars of 300W then you will need 600W/channel but if your modulator can handle only
500W/channel then you can't put a second PAR on the channel otherwise your modulator will blow.
