Hi. I am testing out an Akai MPC500 thats for sale for cheap. But one problem. I'm following tutorials and the manual trying to figure out how to load in my own samples.
All is okay up to the point when I want to use the samples.
Here's my steps:
-I made a folder called TESTDRUMKIT
-I put in 3 different kicks, 3 different snares, and 3 different hi-hat samples.
-I load it onto my memory card via usb.
-After finished I check my MPC in the mode load samples, yep, the samples are there in a TESTDRUMKIT folder.
-yep, 3 kicks snares and hats.
-I press play to hear them but all the kicks are the same sample now. Along with the snares all being the same, and the hats!!??
I cleary put in 3 DIFFERENT samples of each. But yet when they load, it's as if I put it 3 same kicks, 3 same snares, and 3 same hats.
What is going on!?
I've tried loading them different ways, like all in one folder, subfolders, etc.
Its all the same. What the heck do I do?
