MPC 2000 classic Shift +Slider= No Trim?

I had an MPC XL before and shift and slider used to be a fast way of trimming samples. Does this exist on the regular 2000? If so, my slider is busted :-(

I dont think so. The mod wheel is mad fast on the classic tho. Take the outside part of the wheel and notch it over left or right highlight a certain number of samples then take the inner wheel and just spin
 
It might I haven't tried it. I dont think it does. My 2000 is down or id check it out but I never found a use for that slider
