Mpc 1000 + behringer xenyx + reason 4 helppp

Got all of the equipment above and my question is, is it possible to use reason as a sound module and achieve it using the equipment i have, i already have the midi out of the keyboard going through the midi in on my mpc and when i hit a key on my keyboard it plays the mpc and reasons, until i turn the program off on my mpc, after that it dose nothing cant get the sounds to play or record on my mpc, ive scoured youtube for answers but cant find any so im coming here hehe helpp pleaseee !!!

what program on the mpc are you turning off?

EDIT:: do you have a midi cable running from the midi out on the mpc to the midi in of your computer?

it sounds like you're trying to sequence in the mpc and have reason play what the mpc is spitting out...you'll need a direct midi connection between the mpc and computer for this to work. let us know what kind of midi keyboard you're using.
