Well if you have the cash for 2 sets than you have a ton more options. I've had the mackies and then I got the lsr4326 they are much better to me, more clear you can hear whats really going on plus they have the room eq which does work even if your room is already treated. I went with the 6" instead of the 8's because they fit my small room better but I also got the matching sub lsr12sp to kick on for checking bass or just blasting the finished product, that sub is a smooth ass monster.
If you got the loot, there already linked up for a DTX 5.1 set up would be sick as hell 3 of the 4326's up front with 24328's in the back and the sub. For the price range I like the jbl,s the best that's why I got them.
