Hey guys, today I went out and bought 2 KRK rp5's and a Focusrite Saffire pro 24 audio interface (firewire). I connected the the AI to my macbook pro 15" and I plugged the rokits in by using two balanced 1/4 trs cables. Right now i'm using garageband to make tracks but I plan on upgrading to Logic Pro within a few weeks. Until then I'm just going to be listening to music through itunes, watching movies, etc. The problem i'm having is that I don't know if i'm getting the best possible sound out of them as I can. All I've done is adjusted the volume on my AI, and the gain on the back of my rokits. I want to know if there's any other way to adjust the sound i'm hearing, like EQ and stuff like that. Also, whenever I listen to a song the bass is really hard to hear, is there a way to make it louder without screwing with the sound?
I'm sorry if this was hard to follow but I'm a total noob, so cut me some slack haha. Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated.
