As always, feedback for feedback. I'm trying to get away from just looping samples. Obviously it's much more difficult playing out the drums, bass, etc. I did use some chops of a couple samples. I'm somewhere around seven months into this music thing and would love some honest feedback. What do you like about it? What needs to be tweeked? What needs to straight up go? Are you feelin it? Do you hate it? Is it awful? I would appreciate any and all feedback, for real.

try to quantize the drums and add swing to them, it will sound way better and also change the main loop, add breakdowns, also try eq the samples to get a warm sound

Thanks man. I appreciate it. I'll add swing and see how it sounds. As far a source the samples, I've been playing with low pass filters. Without filtering them that way you can hear other stuff in the samples that aren't desirable.

I dig this bro. Very similar style to myself. I like the chops and drums sound nice. I would experiment with some effects on the drums to maybe make them more crisp. Im working towards the same thing. Nice chill beat tho. Check out my latest beat and leave me some feedback.
