How To Sing On Key

I just got into singing recently and I want to learn how to sing on key. I just purchased Antares auto tune plugin for my home studio and sometimes I don't like the way I sound. I want to have a little bit of singing ability to sound good and reach the notes when using autotune

Sing wierd messed up silly ass lyrics. Pull one ear out of the headphones and hum out loud diffefrent notes until you find the right one. find out how you want your delivery to sound.

get a vocal exercise book and spend an hour a day practicing

It might also be hard to properly hear yourself singing. In ear systems will help you with that. Or, make a loop from your mic to your headset where you hear yourself. Like you'd do in a normal studio setup as well. Or you could record yourself and hear yourself back.
