How do I map sounds to my MPD18 pads using Sony Acid Pro?

I'm new at this.

I chopped a drum break to map to a few pads, just to test the MPD out...But I can't even map the mofo's to the pads! Gotdayum!

I'm using Sony Acid Pro 7 and have Sound Forge 10.

I've set the device in preferences and all that. I've set the MPD preset as required.

Can Acid even map sounds to pads?

I'll be getting Ableton soon but I want to start now hence using Acid.

u need to change the pads cc's to the corresponding midi hannel, use the included soft or just get ableton and manually map em

I don't think there is a way to map out midi controllers in Acid Pro
