I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself. I have been collecting equipment for 10 years or so. I want to make some better beats. I have some decent gear and an ear for music, the technical side needs some help... I am mainly focusing on my MPC 4000. I have several other synths and machines but this is by far my most challenging piece, and what I think will be the brains of my operation. I'm also interested in discuss a proper set up, in terms of linking my MPC to the computer. Musically I am techno, acid, house, electro, ambient, etc... I really love the MPC. Currently I am having trouble saving and locating my files with all the samples. I'm leaning towards saving my files to Logic, I keep losing (or I'm failing to load) my tracks with samples once I save them.
